Junior Road Safety Officers PDF Print E-mail

The City and County of Swansea have been running a Junior Road Safety Officer's scheme for the past couple of years.  Each year, a number of children from schools around Swansea are appointed as JRSO's and are expected to take part in a number of events throughout the school year.  This would include meetings, quizzes and other activities.

These meetings often take place during the half term break.  Therefore it would be the parents' responsibility to take children to and from these events.  The first meeting of this year will take place on Thursday 27th October 2011.

We need to nominate Y5 & Y6 JRSOs for this school year.  Names need to be given to the Road Safety team as soon as possible.

Would your child like to represent the school at these fun events?  If so, please complete the consent forms being sent out, and return to the school office.  Thank you.
